The place it all began, Theyer & Hardtmuth in Kärtnerstraße. The company founders Franz Huber and Peter Lerner first met as employees of this company, which was founded in 1733. Not long afterwards, they decided to set up their own business and founded their own firm called Huber & Lerner in 1901.
The personal embossing machine for the stationery of Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) was put into the company archive at Huber & Lerner following the takeover of Theyer & Hardtmuth in 1931.

This leather tome from 1911, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the company with calligraphy text, was a gift to the company owners from their staff.

On June 3rd and 4th, 1961, Vienna was the center of world politics. The historic summit between US President John F. Kennedy and Kremlin boss Nikita Khrushchev took place in Vienna. Both statesmen met at these negotiations for the first and only time in their lives.
The menu cards for the state banquet at that time were printed by Huber & Lerner. Two of these menu cards with the autographs of the President's wife, Jackie Kennedy and Nikita Khrushchev, were auctioned off in 1998 at a Guernsey auction in New York. The starting price at that time was the equivalent of 9,000 euros.

Huber & Lerner was presented in this edition, published by Brandstätter Verlag in 1990, in addition to numerous other Austrian brands such as Austrian Airlines, Berndorf, Hotel Sacher, Bene, Römerquelle, Mautner Markhof, Swarovski, and Schlumberger etc.
