Wedding Announcements from Huber & Lerner

The production of the wedding announcements is a first, important step, long before the event itself. It is often recommended to send a “Save The Date” card in advance to inform guests before they plan business trips or holidays so that they keep the date free for the wedding.  

The most important information needs to be fixed before the creation of the wedding stationery. Which events -- e.g. church reception, wedding reception, evening event, dinner -- will take place at the wedding and the number of guests invited to each. Further information such as the church, location of the wedding reception or hotel accommodation possibilities should also be fixed, as well as an arrival plan and wedding present list.    

Generally speaking, the style elements of the wedding should be reflected in the wedding invitations. A traditional wedding ceremony requires a traditionally styled invitation. Will it be a white wedding or a wedding in traditional dress, a wedding by the sea with an open-air celebration in an olive grove or a very exclusive location in a castle?

The design of the announcement includes the choice of format, paper and printing process and print colour, as well as the question of individual graphic design. Should the initials of the couple or a ring design appear on the first page in thermographic print or embossing? Should a complete motif design be developed that can be used for all the stationery for the wedding from the programme, and menus to thank you cards? Our in-house Graphic Design Department and our creative partners are available to customers at all times. Additionally, we tie bows in many different colours that fit the invitation colour scheme and offer a special calligraphy service for writing envelopes and place cards. Customers may choose from a great range of wonderful calligraphy styles. The perfect way to create that special finish for envelopes is with sealing lacquer and a signet with the couple’s initials.

Illustrated Wedding Announcements and Invitations

Illustrated wedding announcements and invitations are new to our range. We offer either ready-made illustrations or the option of having an individual design especially made for you. The ready-made motifs were designed exclusively for Huber & Lerner by Illustrator Leopoldine Liechtenstein (www.leoliecht.com) and can be supplemented with the wedding couple's individual monograms and texts. This series is available in three different themes:

Custom Design and Illustrations

In the case of a custom designs, illustrations will be made in detail according to the ideas of the wedding couple, which can then be continued on all other wedding print materials, such as church programs, menu cards, place cards and thank you cards.

You will receive a detailed personal consultation and be able to browse through our vast sample folders at our store at Weihburggasse 4 in order to answer all your questions relating to wedding invitations.
