Business Cards are far more than the mere source of information they were in former times in today’s society. They have become a statement about personal lifestyle and are an initial opportunity to present yourself both socially and commercially.

Card selection and design send an individual message. If you wish to appear more modest, you can select classic white or lightly toned card cartons.  On the other hand, laid card stock with torn edges and/or an embossed name, company logo or family coat of arms, expresses exclusivity. You may choose a striking design and a carton with bold colours or a white carton with striking print colours. The range of colours is almost limitless. Different printing techniques may also be combined for that personal touch.    

Our classic format is 9 x 5 cm (approximately 3.5 x 2 in). Other formats with 8.5 x 5.4 cm (3.3 x 2.1 in) and larger cards with 10 x 6 cm (3.9 x 2.4 in) are available, depending on the amount of text required. Other sizes are available upon request. However, we recommend smaller formats, as typical cards are 9 x 5 cm (3.5 x 2 in) in size.

Most paper weights are between 220g (7 oz), 300g (10.6 oz), 400g (14.1 oz) and up to 600g (21.1 oz) (for letterpress cards). A special way of print finishing business cards is color cutting. This involves individually coloring the edges of the cards afterwards. This technique only uses very strong paper types with a high grammage of 600g and above. This is why only classic letterpress printing can be used for this type of paper finishing.

Cards are an ideal gift idea for a wide range of occasions such as weddings, graduations, birthdays or after moving home. As part of our special gift service, we wrap card sets as presents, add a handwritten greeting or calligraphy card according to your text template, and send the parcel to the recipient directly by post.

Huber & Lerner also offer a range of diverse card envelopes, which can be lined or unlined.  These are often used when a card is not given directly in person or is added to a bouquet of flowers or a present.

We offer card holders for the storage and carrying of cards in a large array of fashionable leather colours, either with completely flat-surfaced, soft cases or as clip holders or solid holders, allowing for the safe carrying of a larger number of cards.  You will receive a detailed personal consultation and be able to browse through our vast sample folders at our store at Weihburggasse 4 in order to answer all your questions relating to personalised cards.
