Otto Wagner Special Edition
Huber & Lerner created an exclusive writing paper and notelet set, based on original designs, in honour of Otto Wagner in cooperation with Wien Museum.
The Wien Museum exhibition Otto Wagner ran from 15th March 2018 to 7th October 2018, displaying the entire works of the Viennese architect to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his death. Wien Museum and Huber & Lerner collaborated to produce special writing paper for the museum shop.
Huber & Lerner created an exclusive writing paper and notelet set based on Otto Wagner designs from the archive of Wien Museum. The special edition was produced using Huber & Lerner Edelpost paper.
The Otto Wagner writing paper design, which was developed for the architect’s 70th birthday in 1911, was created the same decade that Huber & Lerner was founded in – in 1901. We took a historic plan from the year 1914, which illustrates the door of our former shop in the Kohlmarkt from the archive, which had a very similar typography to the writing paper design used by Otto Wagner. This new plan was presented in a special “Otto Wagner” shop window display, which was created by the Schaufensterinnen.
