The German philosopher Rüdiger Safranski believes letter writing is making a comeback: “The letter is restarting its career, in contrast to rapid e-mail correspondence. The letter’s opportunity lies in the culture of the distances between sending and delivery. This increases the anticipation and excitement. It leads to deceleration, intensity, and attentiveness, also when reading. You do not need to answer it immediately”.

Letters have even greater value for the recipient in this age of digital media and continue to be a medium of individual expression. The choice of paper, printing, and typography, and an individual’s handwriting give letters their uniqueness. The paper preserves the written word and makes it tangible and permanent.

We can also send you a selection of paper samples upon request.    

Signets which have been embossed with initials or a motif and with different-coloured sealing lacquers make perfect accessories to the writing paper.
