St. Valentine’s Day is the day for lovers and is celebrated on 14th February every year. This tradition dates back to the time of Saint Valentine of Terni. According to legend, he gave a newly married couple fresh flowers from his garden.
The poem “Parlement of Foules” by the English writer Geoffrey Chaucer has a connection to St. Valentine’s Day.
