Color cutting as print finishing
A special way of finishing business cards, letter cards or invitation cards is colour cutting. The edges of the cards are individually coloured.
This technique only uses very strong paper types with a high grammage of 600g and above. The desired effect would not be achieved properly on thinner papers. High-quality paper types, such as cotton paper or specially coated paper, are ideal for enabling a smooth and even colour application. This is why only classic letterpress can be used as a printing process for this paper finishing.
Choose the right colour for the colour cutting of your print type from an extensive range. This can either be matched to the colour of the print image or serve as a colourful contrast.
